Terms and Conditions

(1) The Licensee shall

a) Not sub-let the premises nor use them for any unlawful purpose and maintain good order throughout the period of use

b) Make good breakages, damage or other deficiencies whether accidental, wilful or otherwise caused to the Hall or its fixtures, fittings, equipment or any other thing during the period of use, whether or not such damage or deficiencies have been notified by the Committee to the Licensee

c) Ensure that studs, stiletto heels or any other damaging clothing, equipment (including naked flames) are not used in any of the rooms comprised in the Hall throughout the period of use

d) Ensure that all fire exists are kept unobstructed and the location of fire extinguishers are not interfered with

e) Comply with the relevant Health and Safety legislation by acting positively where the Licensee can prevent injury, ill health or any danger or loss arising from the Licensee's activities and operations, in accordance with the Hall's health and safety policy document which is displayed in the Hall

f) Clear and leave in a clean and tidy condition all parts of the Hall within 15 minutes of the end of the period of use. It shall be at the discretion of the Committee whether any failure on the part of the Licensee or his servants and agents to observe this condition shall result in the payment of an additional fee

g) Switch off all lights/appliances before leaving and secure the premises as instructed in the quotation document

(2) The Management Committee reserves in its absolute discretion the right to refuse, cancel or amend a booking in appropriate circumstances. Should such discretion be exercised the Licensee will be notified as soon as practicable, and any deposit or part thereof will be returned to the Licensee according to the circumstances of each case.

(3) By signing and returning the pink copy of the booking form the Licensee accepts all the terms and conditions of the Licence
